Who We Are

HK Evolution of Financial Regulations Association (HKEFR)

HKEFR is an industry association, founded by ex-SFC senior management members, including ex-SFC Fintech Head and Licensing Director, and seasoned veterans in the financial sector. Our mission at HKEFR is to leverage the regulatory experience and expertise of our founding members in a collaborative effort with the financial industry and regulators, with the aim of developing and maintaining Hong Kong as a world-class regulatory environment.

Our advocacy efforts are directed towards influencing financial regulations in Hong Kong, thereby fostering long-term growth and enhancing the competitiveness of HK’s financial sector. This advocacy not only benefits industry stakeholders but also positively impacts our broader economy.
